A six-position knob controls the direction of exhaust flow within the capsule. An auger design allows gases to pass over the blades of the
auger and through its core by varying degrees, thereby changing back pressure and air flow.

Power Effects® was developed to be the ultimate choice in a street-legal,
high-performance exhaust while having a distinguished look all of its own.
Flange-mounted components are designed to be used individually for replacing conventional
mufflers and exhaust tips, or for building up custom installations. Components are
also used in specific combinations to produce fully engineered cat-back systems for select
vehicles. Weldable flanges along with stub flanges and stainless steel band clamps
fit 2-1/4, 2-1/2, 2-3/4 and 3" O.D. exhaust tubing.
Only the finest materials have been selected in the manufacturing of Power
Effects® components. Aluminum castings, aluminum extrusions, and
2-3/4" O.D. mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing are painted in a high-heat, satin black
silicone powder-coat finish, capable of withstanding 1200° temperatures.
Stainless steel hardware is used throughtout. Power Effects® will
provide years of trouble-free performance.
Non-tunable and tunable power capsules provide substantial increases in horsepower and
torque. Tunable capsules have a six-position knob for manual tuning of back
pressure, offereing superior, unrestricted airflow for additional increases in
performance.
Sound is personal and will vary with each vehicle and with each individual. Capsules
and tips have a deep, rich, big-block exhaust sound. Tunable capsules offer subtle
changes in sound as back pressure is adjusted. Sound changes are not significant
when adjusted while idling, but are most noticeable when accelerating. Each engine
will have its own sound and resonance level at various engine RPMs.
